Trade90x Weekly Operator Report (August 3–7, 2026)

The Fed held rates at 3.50–3.75% — but three officials voted to raise them, the first triple dissent in that direction since 2016. The bond market heard it: the 30-year jumped to 5.25%, its highest since 2007. That one vote reorganizes the whole week: with a September hike now near a coin flip, a strong jobs report this Friday means more hike talk, higher bond rates, and pressure on stocks. Good news is bad news.

Meanwhile the index is wearing a costume. July finished essentially flat — while chip stocks had their worst month since 2008, momentum names dropped about 12%, and a handful of giants carried everything. Big Tech itself split in two: Microsoft and Amazon showed the AI spending coming back as revenue and jumped double digits; Apple beat on sales, warned on chips, and had its worst day since 2020.

This week's full report covers the five dials, the Fed story in plain words, the August calendar and why the swings get bigger, the two numbers that decide everything, the day-by-day pivot map, the fund map and shield ladder, and the eight-minute pre-open checklist.

Without this map, you're flying blind into a jobs-report week with a Fed arguing about hikes. The report doesn't predict — it prepares: the dials read before the open, the pivots mapped day by day, the traps flagged so you can skip them. That preparation, done the same way every week, is the real edge.
