Trade90x Weekly Operator Report (August 31 – September 4, 2026)

Nvidia beat and got paid. Marvell beat and got fined.

Nvidia reported a $96.2 billion quarter, up 106% on the year, and had its best day in more than four months. Marvell reported a record $2.74 billion, raised its targets for both years, and fell 8%. Same week, both beat, one paid.

The difference was not in the numbers. Marvell had already run 178% on the year, so a great quarter was the price of admission. Nvidia had fallen on seven of its previous nine days, so a great quarter was news.

The other half of the week came from one sentence. The new Fed chair's first Jackson Hole speech moved September rate-rise odds from 35% to 57% in a day. The S&P still closed at 7,711, above the 7,700 line for a second straight session.

This edition also grades the five claims the last one made, by name and against settled closes. Four held. One did not, and it is printed as a miss.
