Trade90x Weekly Operator Report (September 14–18, 2026)

The floor broke. Then the market climbed back through it.
On Wednesday the market closed below a level this letter had published before the week started. On Thursday it closed below it again, and the defense rules turned on that evening, before the selling had finished. On Friday it climbed back through. The week finished about 0.7% lower.
Friday is the part worth studying. August inflation ran hot enough to push the odds of a September rate rise toward the high eighties, and the market rose almost a percent anyway, with all eleven sectors green, because oil slipped back under a hundred dollars. The number was the bad news. The reaction outranked it, for the second time this month.
The edition also grades all seven of last week's claims by name, with the misses printed in bold at full size and the rule change that came out of them. A rate decision lands Wednesday and a quarterly expiration follows on Friday.
