Trade90x Weekly Operator Report (September 21-25, 2026)

The Fed hiked. The Dow fell 631 points. Then took it all back.

On Wednesday the Fed raised its rate a quarter point to 3.75–4.00%, its first hike since 2023. The Dow fell 631 points while the chairman was still speaking. By Friday all of it had been recovered and the week finished 0.08% lower, with the fear gauge closing at 14.81, its calmest reading in weeks.

The number worth keeping is 7,656.98. That is the level this letter published in advance as the one that would change its plan. Friday closed at 7,650.50, six and a half points short, so nothing changed.

The edition also grades three claims by name, prints what the desk got wrong and how it was fixed, and sets out a deliberate coin-flip for next week: whether the 10-year closes below 4.85% at least once, when almost everything about the week argues it will not.
